What sort of man, when faced with the multi-faceted reality of existence, can say with surety that his view is the truest, and never doubt himself? For while I may understand the existence of life as I see it now, never am I able to possess the observational prowess others have where I seem to lack. And if that is what it means to understand, and if man is unable to understand each other, then it only makes sense that we quarrel in the dust of those who quarreled before us.
