Week Six (February 18-February 24)
Weekly Response
The most beautiful place I've ever been was a secluded bay on the coast of Costa Rica. The warm, dark water rolled softly against the heavy black sand, under overcast skies, where strange birds flew from the coming rain. It was in one moment the most peaceful and calm place I have ever been; no vacationers, no yelling kids, no distant fishing boats on the horizon. And endless expanse of warm air and salty sea. I've never loved the beach as much as then, and the sea was never as comforting.
Weekly Studies
($5 Cotton Rag Paper)
For this week, I focused work on a larger, more intricate piece, so less visible progress was made, and this piece will most likely span several weeks of development.
